Green Greenathon

Greenathon was a great effort by NDTV and many celebrities from all walks of life contributed to this cause. There was one feature where Narendra Kumar, Neeta Lulla and Shantanu and Nikhil created green outfits in 48 hours. If you missed it then you can see the video here (go to page 2 to see "Fashion goes green" and page 3 for "Designers participate in Greenathon" and "SRK to adopt 5 villages).
Every one who participated was dressed in some shade of green. And here's SRK's take on the green - what else but his favourite scarf these days. I am now pretty sure he has one of these in every colour!!

One In Each Colour

It's not only the girls who love their accesories and clothes. SRK too loves the new scarf/muffler trend and has them in more than one colour! Do you like anyone better than the other? I am liking both...

Scarfing It

Who do you think did the scarf look the best?
I am always biased towards Akki, but Adhyayan also looks good here. and Kangana sure looks lovely once again. Yash looks a bit shabby especially with the jeans rolled up!

Datuk Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh received the Datuk from the state of Malacca in their national dress Baju Melayu . For the uninitiated, Datuk is the highest award given to a foreigner by the state of Malacca. Shahrukh received this award because his last 6 movies were shot in this place - leading to a boost in tourism for the country.

I think the outfit certainly suits him. What do you think?

Here's a short description of their national dress: On ceremonial occassions, the men wear the Baju Melayu consisting of a loose shirt and a pair of long trousers. A sarung known as sampin is wrapped around the waist and is left to hang half-way over the trousers. The headgear consists of a black fez-like cap known as a songkok, whereas on grander ocassions, a tanjak or tengkolok is donned.
